The Most Important Flower Arrangement
Your bouquet is the most important flower arrangement you will ever have. At your first consultation, which is absolutely free, we welcome input from not only the bride but mums, fiancées and bridesmaids too.
Choose Your Colour Scheme
Before a consultation it is helpful if the bride to be has chosen her wedding dress and her colour scheme. It is also a good idea for her to collect photos of any particular bouquets and table arrangements which appeal to her. We can then work together to create the wedding flowers of her dreams.
Most Popular Flowers
Of the many beautiful flowers to choose from, the most popular are roses, freesia, lisianthus, cala lilies, orchids, bouvardia, hydrangeas and peonies. Most flowers are available all the year round. Although prices will vary. Tulips, peonies and hydrangeas are examples of these.
Bridal Colour Themes
These change like fashion, for example vintage, country, traditional and with or without foliage. Ivy, eucalyptus, pittosporum, various grasses and ruscus are just some of the beautiful foliages that can compliment your bouquet.
Pearls and Crystals
Some brides choose to have just flowers. Another way to enhance your bouquet is the addition of Swarovski pearls and crystals either singly or in clusters.
Young bridesmaids often prefer to have a smaller version of the adults bouquets but fairy wands, baskets or wristband teddy bears make charming alternatives. The wands can be bound with ribbon to tone with the bridal colour them together with a matching flower.
Our brides and bridesmaids bouquets are bound with coordinating ribbon and finished with either pearl or crystal headed pins. Toning ribbons blend the stems of the flowers with the dresses so that only the flowers are prominent. Unless the bride particularly asks for a large bouquet we usually recommend that the bouquet compliments her beautiful bridal gown and doesn’t cover any of the detail.
Making The Bride Feel Special
Every bride is special to us and each bouquet is individually designed.
